Institute of Plant Molecular Biology (IPMB) was founded in 1990 by several genetically oriented teams that separated from the Institute of Experimental Botany, Prague, and moved to the Czech Budejovice. From 1.1.2006, the IPMB is part of the Biology Centre CAS.
